Online Obituaries Adelaide Fortes Santos, of Brockton Massachusetts, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Arlindo Santos. Born October 14, 1932 in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Jose Antonio Fortes and Maria Dos Santos Silva. Adelaide was faithful to God and her church at the Nova Aliana Church of Nazarene in Brockton. She is survived by her children, Arminda Tavares and her husband Joaquim, Arlinda Santos, Alcinda Santos and her husband Rosende, Virginia Fortes, Adolfo Santos, Ana Paula Vicente and her husband Paul, David Santos and his wife Linda and Daniel Santos; her sisters, Ana Fortes and Julia Fortes Lopes; she is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 brothers. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Nova Aliana Church of Nazarene, 38 Mystic St., Brockton on Wednesday, October 5th at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Nova Aliana Church of Nazarene on Tuesday from 5:00-8:00PM
