Adeline R. "Ida" Albanese Adeline R. "Ida" (Jantomaso) Albanese, 93, of Brockton died Monday, October 26, at St. Joseph Manor in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Victor Albanese. Born April 29, 1916 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Matteo Jantomaso and Nice (Urbani) Jantomaso. Raised in Brockton she attended Brockton Schools. She was a Cosmetician for Chaney's Pharmacy for over 35 years. She was devoted to family and friends. Ida loved to cook. She was spirited and generous of heart. She is survived by her children, Richard V. Albanese of Brockton and Paul M. Albanese and wife Janice of East Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Matthew P. Albanese of West Bridgewater, Richard C. Albanese of Brockton, Sherri Brandsen of San Diego, California and Tina Albanese of Florida and four great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Philomena Jantomaso, John Jantomaso, Louis Jantomaso, Lucille LaFranchise; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Daniel Jantomaso, Joseph Jantomaso, Patrick Jantomaso, and Angelina Mussari. Funeral Information A Funeral service will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt. 123) Brockton on Thursday, October 29th at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Wednesday 5:00-8:00PM.
