Adiero Lopes, 73, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Palmira Lopes. Born in Fogo, Cape Verde on December 2, 1945, he was the son of the late Marcelino Lopes and the late Izilda (Barbosa) Lopes. Adiero is survived by his wife, Palmira (Amado) Lopes; his daughter, Lucilia Ramos; his grandchildren, Lucy Santos Lopes, Tracy Ramos, and Johnny Ramos; and his siblings, Maria Maia, Maria Lopes, Maria Luiza Lopes, Juliana Lopes, John Lopes, and Branca Lopes. He was the brother of the late Marcelino Lopes. Funeral Services will be held in Central United Methodist Church, 65 West Elm St., Brockton at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00PM-9:00PM.
