Adilson Tavares Adilson Tavares , of New Bedford, Adilson's life was suddenly taken from him on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the age of 21 where he passed away at the Boston Medical Center. Born on November 3, 1989 in Brockton he was the son of Aires Goncalves and Marcelina Tavares. A graduate of Brockton High School, Adilson worked as an auto detailer. Adilson lived a joyful and active lifestyle. He was full of life and always projected a vivid smile, one that would light up a room and his optimistic mindset was very encouraging. He loved all his family and friends and was very family orientated. He is survived by his parents, Aires Goncalves and Marcelina Tavares; He was such a loving brother to all nine of his siblings; Aires Samora Tavares, Aires Goncalves Jr., Aires Wilson Goncalves, Daniel Goncalves, Rosa Goncalves, Tatiana Goncalves, Alipio Barros, Oriana Goncalves, and Jose Pedro Goncalves. He was a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews, Dejalei, Deshawn, Adilson, Samory, Samara, Melissa, Danielson, Briana, and Nadiana. He was a loving grandson. He's the grandson/godson of Alina Barros Goncalves, Emilia Tavares, and Jose Goncalves. He loved all his aunts, cousins, friends and uncles. He always made everyone happy when he came around. He has a loving girlfriend Kaissa Goncalves, who stood by his side through any situation awaiting a positive outcome. Adilson will be forever loved and missed by many. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday at 9:30AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:30AM.
