, 80, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, Saturday, July 19, 2008 at his home in Brockton. He was the husband of Sonja E. (Faustlin) Olbert.
Born May 25,1928 in Kunzendorf, Czechoslovakia; he was the son of the late
Adolf Olbert
and Emilie (Zecha) Olbert.
Mr. Olbert was a retired Tool and Dye Maker where he had worked for the F.H. Peterson Machine Co. for several years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and also enjoyed riding his bike, collecting items, gardening, and being able to be a handyman. He has been a Brockton resident for the last 48 years.
He is survived by his children, Annette O. Jones and her husband Guy of Brockton,

and his wife Diane of Chelmsford, Sonja Killay and her husband Timothy of Athol, Evelyne O. DeChambeau and her husband Paul of Whitman, Elisabeth Patel and her husband Bhavin of Belchertown, and Stephan Olbert of Brockton; his grandchildren, Ciara, Kristin, Devon, Lucas, Jacob, Matthew, Sean, Margaret, Abigail, and Rebecca; his sister, Gisela Konhauser; his brother, Alfred Olbert.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, July 23rd at 8:00AM thence to Christ the King Parish/ St Colman Church, 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Tuesday 4:00-8:00PM.
