It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adolph (Lenny) Celia on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at his home under the care of his family and hospice.  He was the husband of 65 years of Joan (Poudrier) Celia of West Bridgewater.

Born May 14, 1935 in Brockton, MA he was the son of the late Nicholas A. and Candida (Maurea) Celia.

He was raised and educated in Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1954. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed as an agent for Prudential Life Insurance for 32 years, retiring in 2000. He was an avid sports fan of the Braves, loved tennis and football. Lenny played tennis until he was 84 years old.

Lenny was extremely devoted to his family most of all. His smile and love will forever be missed.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Paul Celia, Richard Celia and wife Lynn, Marielena Celia and Laurie Celia; Papa of Paul Celia, Jr., Alexandra Celia-Holt, Jonathan Celia; Great Papa of Mya, Jordyn, Lilly, Delilah, Dominic and Malcolm; brother of Mary Lou Iafrate and husband Jospeh; brother in law of Janet (Poudrier) Lucier. As well as many other dear relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kasie Wilson and a brother, Nicholas Celia.

Following Cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., RT28) West Bridgewater on Tuesday, November 1st from 9:30AM-11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00AM.
