IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Adua
Mucci
August 2, 1935 – September 24, 2023
Adua (DeIulio) Mucci, 88, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2023.
Adua was a very loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. She was the wife of the late Eugene Mucci for 58 years, her soulmate, whom she loved deeply until her death. Adua is mother to, and survived by, her children, Janice (Mucci) Meucci & Vinny and Eugene & Patti Mucci; and her grandchildren Rachele, Anthony and Dominick Meucci … who were her special pride and joy.
We will forever be grateful for the time we had with her. We will continue her legacy through each of us - that she loved so deeply. She was, and always will be, our wonderful mother & grandmother.
Adua was born August 2, 1935 in Bronx, NY daughter to Vittorio & Lena (Garro) DeIulio. She was raised in the Bronx, where she met her husband, and was married on October 12, 1957. Adua was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings; her sister Marie "Dolly" Tomanelli, and her husband Dominick, and her brothers Elio DeIulio, and William "Willie" DeIulio.
She survived by her children, grandchildren, sister-in-law's; Barbara DeIulio, and Jessie DeIulio. She also survived by her brother-in-law Roger & Patricia "Pat" Mucci along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Adua owned her own nursery school called Merry-Go-Round and enjoyed teaching all the children she had. She loved sports- (watching and playing) especially racquetball, and loved to dance, play card games, and anything that was fun. She loved going to the beach, cooking for her family, and making her house a welcoming place where everyone felt like family. She always took the time to listen, advise, and be motherly to all she loved. We will forever miss her smile and all the love she had to give.
She always told us that she loved us higher than the sky and deeper than the ocean - and although our hearts are full of sorrow, and will be missing her forever, the love we have for her is more than she could have ever imagined.
