Online Obituaries Aglaia Antonopoulos, 91, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of Vaios Antonopoulos. Born September 13, 1924 in Greece, she was the daughter of the late George Georgantas and Despina (Goulopoulos) Georgantas. Aglaia worked as a seamstress for the clothing and shoe industry in Brockton. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, George Antonopoulos and his wife Donna; her grandchildren, Vance Antonopoulos, Nicholas Antonopoulos and his wife Adrianna and Zoe Antonopoulos; her great-grandchild, George Alexander Antonopoulos; her sisters, Penelope Stamos and Efthalia Vouyouka; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Dimitrios Antonopoulos. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, December 7th at 10:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Sunday 2:00-5:00PM.
