Online Obituaries Agnes M. (Yafrate) Grosso, 100, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Alden Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fairhaven. She was the wife of the late Daniel Grosso. Born May 24, 1916 in East Bridgewater, MA she was the daughter of the late Andrea and Filomina (Mattie) Yafrate. Agnes was raised on the family farm in East Bridgewater and was a long time resident of Brockton following her marriage. She had been a resident of New Bedford for the past fifteen years. She is survived by a daughter, Janice A. Grosso, two sisters, Rose Churchill and Arlene Barton and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was the sister of the late Elvira Grosso, Fred, Joe, Raymond, Silvio and Angelo Yafrate. Funeral Information A funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00AM on Friday, December 30th in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater, MA. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater. Calling hours will be prior to the service in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St.,(Rt.28) West Bridgewater from 8:30 to 9:30AM.
