Agnes T. Quill

Agnes T. Quill, age 98, a longtime resident of Brockton, recently of Weymouth, passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2026, at South Shore Hospital.

Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Greaney) Quill. Agnes retired in 1990 as a teacher and Business Education Department Head for the Hingham Public Schools.

A devout Catholic and dedicated to her faith, Agnes enjoyed spending time with family and friends, notably hosting gatherings at her cottage in South Yarmouth. She also loved going to the beach, playing golf, riding her bike, reading and traveling.

Agnes is survived by her two nephews, Paul (Mary Jane) Arenburg of Hanover and William (Luz Font) of St. Augustine, Florida; her grandniece and grandnephews, Julia (Matthew) Pecoraro of Weymouth, and Alex Arenburg and Lars Arenburg of Florida. She was the sister of the late Timothy Quill and Ellen Arenburg.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, and then again on Wednesday at 9:00 am, at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West Street, Brockton. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
