Albert B. "Rocky" Myers, Jr., 61, of Brockton, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 after a long illness at his home in Brockton.
Born March 6, 1952 in Boston, MA he was a son of Lillian A. (Barboza) Myers and the late Albert B. Myers, Sr. Albert was a Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force from 1970 to 1974. He held the position of installer and repair technician for the New England Telephone Company until his retirement.
He served as an auxiliary police officer for the town of Randolph for several years. He was a member of the Cape Verdean Veterans Association. Rocky was a former Junior Achievement Teacher. He was also an avid sports enthusiast. He graduated from Fisher College with an Associate's Degree.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian A. (Barboza) Myers of Brockton; his children LaShunda, Albert, Ongelique, Jean-Paul, Shauna, Christian and Shaun; his several grandchildren, one great-grandchild; his sister Donna Rivera and his aunt Sandra Santos.
He is also survived by his wife Patricia (Campos) Myers; his step-father John Bradshaw; his siblings Johnalyn and John Bradshaw, Jr. and his companion Jeanne DePina.

Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 10th from 10:00AM-12:00PM followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
