Alberto Monteiro Fonseca Alberto Monteiro Fonseca , 69, of Brockton, died Saturday, Sept. 20 2007 at his home in Brockton. He was the husband of Emilia da Cruz Rodrigues Fonseca. Born January 16, 1938 in Santo Antao, Cape Verde he was the son of the late Francisco Fonseca and Barbara Monteiro Fonseca. Mr. Fonseca has been a Brockton resident since 2002 and had worked at Liberty Bakery in Brockton. He enjoyed reading. He is survived by his wife, Emilia da Cruz Rodrigues Fonseca; his children Neusa Neves, Alicia Semedo, Carlos Fonseca, Natalina Boaventura, Maria Fonseca, and Claudia Fonseca. She was the mother of the late Ariana Rodrigues Fonseca Delacth. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, October 5th at 8:30AM followed by a funeral service in the Central United Methodist Church, 65 West Elm St., Brockton at 9:30AM.
