Alberto G. Santos Alberto G. Santos , 63, of Brockton, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 while he was visiting his home land the Cape Verde Island. He was the husband of the Tereza M Santos. Born November 21, 1945 in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Ana Garcia Barbosa of Brockton and the late Fortunato Santos. Mr. Santos worked for General Dymanics for 20 years and then at Chadwick's of Boston where he retired. He was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church in Brockton. He is survived by his children, Anna Santos Lobo, Albert Santos Jr. and Louis B Santos; his brothers and sisters Jose, Pedro, Eugene, Manuel, Furtonato Santos, Antonio Gonsalves, Furtonato Gonsalves, Isabele Teixeira, Martina Gonsalves, Marta Monteiro, Luisa Lopes Antonia Alves, Teolinda Barros, Luisa DePina, Ida Gonsalves, Maria Gonsalves, Ernestina DePina and the late Daniel DosSantos. He had over 15 late brothers and sisters. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 59 nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, January 27th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Family will gather at St. Edith lower level after Calvary Cemetery, Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Monday 4:00-8:00PM.
