Alexandra (Giannouloudis) Papigiotis, a beloved mother, Yiayia, Nouna, and Thitsa, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, after a brief illness. She was 95 years old.
Alexandra was born on April 26, 1930, in Neapoli, Kozani, Greece. She was the daughter of George and Susanna (Tsoumbanopoulos) Giannouloudis. In 1967, she immigrated to the United States, where she built a beautiful life with her loving husband, Nicholaos Papigiotis, and their son, Athanasios "Saki" Papigiotis.
She is survived by her beloved son Athanasios; her cherished grandson, Nicholas; and several nieces, nephews, and godchildren who considered her the matriarch of the family. She was predeceased by her six siblings.
Alexandra was known for her tireless work ethic during her many years as a stitcher at Stride Rite Shoes. She was a devoted parishioner of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. She excelled at cooking and baking and was a gifted seamstress. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Calling hours will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak Street, Brockton, on Wednesday, February 4, from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m., followed by a funeral service in the church. Interment will follow at the Melrose Cemetery in Brockton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alexandra's memory may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Brockton
