It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alexsandro “Alex” Fernandes, on March 8th, 2026 at 27 years old. Alex was the son of Alexandre Andrade and Edite Fernandes. He is the survivor of 6 siblings, 6 nieces and 1 nephew.

Alex had a contagious smile and an uplifting spirit that made others remember him. His soul was kind, gentle and pure. His presence immediately made others feel comfortable and at ease. His calm spirit made it easy for others to engage in meaningful conversations with him.

Alex was deeply over protective and loyal to his family. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and living his life to the fullest.

The memories of Alex will forever live in our hearts. Those who were fortunate enough to know him will remember him for his kind heart, infectious smile and outgoing personality.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday March 15th, 2026 from 4-7PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton. A Funeral Home service will take place on Monday, March 16th, 2026 at 9:30AM followed by burial at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton at 11AM.
