Alfred R. Danksewicz Alfred R. Danksewicz , 72, of Brockton, died Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of 52 years to Marie (Ternullo) Danksewicz. Born February 15, 1935 in Boston, he was the son of the late Anthony Danksewicz and Mary (Papunzynskas) Danksewicz. Raised in Boston he was educated in Boston and was a graduate of Northeastern University. Mr. Danksewicz was a retired Structural Engineer. He had worked for Fay Spoffard and Thorndike, Inc in Boston and Burlington. Alfred was a Registered Professional Engineer and was known for his specialty in Roof Structure. He was involved with several engineering projects including the Big Dig, Massport Authority at Boston Logan Airport, Boston Housing Authority, and City of Brockton Sewer Treatment Plant. He was a member of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers. He was a Brockton resident since 1958. He enjoyed fishing, photography, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie (Ternullo) Danksewicz of Brockton; his children, Deborah (Danksewicz) Hancock and her husband Maurice of Brockton, Anthony Danksewicz and his wife Paula of Franklin, Alfred R. Danksewicz , Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Bridgewater, and Diane (Danksewicz) Sturtevant and her husband Norman of Raynham ; his grandchildren, Jared Hancock, Courtney Hancock, Julie Hancock, Michael Danksewicz, Christopher Danksewicz, Cory Sturtevant, Samantha Sturtevant, Jake Sturtevant, Julia Danksewicz, JennaRose Danksewicz, and Alfred R. Danksewicz , III; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward Danksewicz. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, January 10th at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Wednesday 4:00-8:00PM.
