Online Obituaries Alfred G. "Al" Grosso, Jr., 68, of Brockton, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at the Kindred Highgate Manor in Dedham. Born April 26, 1946 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Alfred G. Grosso and Elvira (Yafrate) Grosso. A lifelong Brockton resident, he graduated from Brockton High School and Boston University. He served in the United States Air Force. Alfred was a Bartender in the Brockton area for several years. He is survived by his aunts, Rose Churchill of East Bridgewater and Agnes Grosso of New Bedford; he is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lenora Grosso-Lombardo. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home on Friday, May 30th from 10:00AM-12:00PM followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
