Alfred K. MaDan, 76, of Taunton passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Morton Hospital. He was the longtime companion of Jacqueline Miller.

Born in Brockton on April 23, 1946, he was the son of the late Emery and Stella (Kozuch) MaDan. Alfred graduated from Brockton High School in 1963 and attended Wentworth.

Alfred enjoyed golf and basketball, and traveling by plane, car and train. He loved boating, fishing, the beach and the mountains.

In addition to his companion Jacqueline, Alfred is survived by his children Scott Parker and his partner Lauren of Stoughton, Christopher MaDan and his partner Justine of Marshfield, Robert MaDan and his partner Carrie of Brockton, Michelle Kelleher and her husband Ed of Rockland, Susan Parker of Rockland and Laura MaDan and her partner Jay of Rockland; 14 grandchildren Kaitlyn, Nichole, Kayla, Derek, Corey, Christiana, Vaughn, Ian, Cameron, Jessenia, Timothy, Chris, Jack and Aidan; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his stepson Joel Coffman and his wife Karen of East Bridgewater; his stepdaughter Jamie Spaulding and her husband Allan of West Bridgewater; granddaughters Kayla Coffman Adams and her husband Jake of Salem, Chelsey Langley and her husband Ryan of Taunton, Madison Spaulding and her partner Josh Cloud of Whitman and Tyler Coffman of East Bridgewater; and great-granddaughters Everly Cloud and Scarlett Langley. He was the loving brother to Emery MaDan, Donald MaDan and Marjorie Leighton; and uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews. Alfred is predeceased by his daughter the late Tammy MaDan and sisters the late Shirley Bibby and Emily Beals.
