Obituary

Alfred “Al” Osborne 80 years of Brockton died Friday at the Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Brockton a son of the late Francis and Alice (Smith) Osborne and had been a resident of the city for most of his life. He had lived many enjoyable years with his friends at Growthways.
Mr. Osborne currently attended Easton Dayhab and previously belonged to Open Roads in Middleboro. At one time he was employed by Shoe City Contract Company in Brockton.
He enjoyed music especially the polka and playing bingo.
He is survived by two sisters Grace Carine of West Bridgewater of West Bridgewater and Phyllis Meehan of Georgia and two nieces.
He was the brother of the late Francis Osborne
A Memorial Service will be held at Church on the Rock/Four Square Church 421 Torrey Street Brockton Wednesday at 12 noon followed by graveside services in Melrose Cemetery at 1 pm.
