Obituary

Alfreda M. Wright (Reilly), age 94, of Brockton, passed away on July 15, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late E. James Wright, Jr.

Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Alfred E. and Rose P. (Cassidy) Reilly.

Alfreda was a 1947 graduate of St. Joseph's College School in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

She worked as a telephone operator for New England Tel & Tel for many years.

Mrs. Wright loved reading, sewing, knitting, and travelling, especially to Florida and Prince Edward Island, Canada. She was a member of the Mother's of Twin's Organization and loved cats.

Alfreda is survived by her children, James P. Wright of Berkley, Arthur J. Wright of Dallas, TX, Annmarie Fencer and her husband Rick of Brockton, Robert B. Wright of Brockton, Noreen P. Bamford of Brockton, and Daniel M. Wright and his wife Trisha of Stratham, NH; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert P. Reilly.

To honor the wishes of her family, Alfreda's interment will be private.
