Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 9:30am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-7pm.

Obituary Information

Alice B. (Meara) Hart, 72 years, died Monday at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a period of failing health. Born in Rockland, daughter of the late William J. and Winnifred M. (Harvey) Meara. She was the wife of the late John S. Hart Sr. whom she married in 1953. Alice lived in Abington for many years before moving to Brockton in 1972. She retired in 1994 after ten years employment at US Repeating Arms in Hingham. Her main interests were her family and home.

She is survived by five sons Gary R. Hart of Quincy, John S. Hart, Jr. of Brockton, William T. Hart of Pembroke, Paul F. Hart of Brockton, and Glen A. Hart of Brockton, two daughters Deborah Calitri of North Port, Florida and Karen Hart of Shapleigh, Maine, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
