Alma Betts, 83, of Brockton, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by family under the care of her family and hospice. She was the wife of the late Ernest C. Betts. Born in Oxford, North Carolina on November 27, 1938 to Ballard Smith and Lillian (Wilkerson) Smith. She was employed and Brockton Hospital, Brockton Day Nursery, and a bus monitor. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, sewing, watching her soap operas, hallmark, family feud, and the 10 o'clock news Alma leaves behind her children Keith Betts (Wife Ruth Betts), Daphne Betts (Wife Cheryl), and Lena Betts followed by her late children Steven and Wife Gail Betts Wanda Betts and Jacqueline Betts. She leaves a host of grand and great-grandchildren, family, and friends. She will be dearly missed. . A celebration of life will be held at the Enterprise Club on Perkins Avenue, Brockton on Saturday, March 19th from 3:00-7:00 PM.
