Amanda J. White-Mompoint, of Brockton, passed away on October 4th, 2018 at the age of 44 after a long battle with cancer.
Amanda was born in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High in 1994. Loving daughter of Robert J. White of Brockton and Cheryl F. White-Lozoraitis of Easton. Amanda was the beloved mother of Marcus J. Mompoint and loving wife of James Mompoint of Brockton.
Amanda loved to cook, read and dance. Though she was an only child, Amanda built lifelong friendships with her dearest friends which she considered sisters. Amanda's true passion was her amazing natural talent for Art. From drawings to paintings, some of her artwork can be seen on the walls of the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Amanda also shined as an interior decorator, designing kids rooms, nurseries and businesses.
Following cremation a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 9:00AM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) Brockton. Memorial gathering Friday from 4:00 to 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Amanda's memory can be made to National Brain Tumor Society 55 Chapel Street, Newton, MA 02458
