Online Obituaries Ambrosio A. Fonseca, 85, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 17, 1930 in Santa Catarina, Fogo, Cabo Verde he was the son of the late Pedro Vieira and Guilhermina (Fontes) Fonseca. He is survived by a son; Antonio Fonseca, three daughters, Viana Santa De Andrade, Ivone Bennett and Maria Aleulia Fonseca; three brothers, Valentim, Carlos and Virgilio Fonseca; two sisters, Maria C.Ribeiro and Nair Fonseca Fontes; Thirteen grandchildren, Jeffrey, Chris, Brian, Matthew, Lauren and Drew Fonseca, Cristian Bennett, Ciara Pina, Stephen Mendes, Uri Branquinho and Inez Branquinho, Carolina and Francisco Morais; Nine Great Grandchildren, Mason, Chase, Jasiah, Tristan, Devon, Liam, Madison, Olivia and Julianna Fonseca. Mr. Fonseca enjoyed music, reading, poetry and keeping up on current events. He was a sporting fan, and enjoyed nature while wallking. He especially cherished spending time with his loving family. He was very proud of all his children and grandchildren. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Monday from 5:00 to 9:00PM.
