DeBarros of Brockton, December 9, 2006 Amelia J. DeBarros, 95 years. Beloved mother of Apolo Cardoso and Venedito B. Tavares both of Brockton and Clara Melicio of Holland. Sister of Idalina B. Semedo of Brockton. Also survived by 10 grand and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 11am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-9 pm.
Ms. DeBarros died quietly Saturday evening at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of the late Antonio J. DeBarros and Maria DePina. Amelia was raised in Cape Verde and has been a resident of Brockton since 1984. She was an active member of the Jehovah Witness Hall here in Brockton. She will be remembered by her family for her kind and loyal nature.
