DUDAS of Brockton formerly of South Boston, March 15, 2002 Amelia (Skamarkas) Dudas. Wife of the late Michael Dudas. Mother of Francis C. Dudas, Sr. of Brockton and Victor Dudas of Braintree.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass is St. Casimir Church at 10 am. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Forest Hills. Visiting hours Monday 7-9 pm.
Mrs. Dudas died Friday at the Sachem Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in East Bridgewater after a period of failing health. She was born in Lawrence daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia Skamarkas and was raised and educated in Lawrence. She moved to South Boston in the 1930s and had been a waitress at the Strand Café in South Boston for many years. She was also employed as a packer at the Victor Coffee Company until she retired. She enjoyed animals and shopping.
She is survived by her two sonsMany grandchildren and nieces and nephews.She was the mother of the late Tony and Edward Dudas.
