Amerzile Jeannis-Dume of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Nordieu Jeannis, and sister of Joseph Dume of New York and Andre Dume of Indiana.
She is survived by her nine children, Sainiel Jeannis, Dieumene Jeannis, Uris Jeaniste, Eliette Jn Beauplan, Marcelet Jeannis, Edianise Jn Francois, Marie Lourdes Jeannis, Anase Destiné Jeannis and Ruth Fanie Jeannis and their respective spouses Jesula Jeannis Talés, Sonia Darius, Michelet Jn Beauplan, Katia Julien, Timothé Jn Francois, Moise Destiné and Julmane Prenelus
Amerzile is also survived by her grand-children MJ, Tracy Saintil, Scheilder Jn Beauplan, Ralph Keinleider Jn Beauplan, Travis Saintil, Bendji Abimael Jeannis, Macheno Jeannis, Emmanuela Tales, Samuel Jeaniste, Myherline Jn Beauplan, Shanna Jeannis, Aslet Jeannis, Woodyelson Jeannis, Stacia Jeaniste, Kerry Jeannis, Eliezer Destiné, Kachiya Jeannis, Tedly Jn Francois, Yanesa Joseph Prenelus, Malia Dalge, Ebensly Destiné, Ruth Shamma Destiné Destiné, Mysha Tanis, Ray-Harlen Brown Jeannis and Isaac Tanis. Great grand-children Isaiah, Naylia, Isabellah and Makell; and multiple nephews and nieces.
Amerzile was a strong woman of faith and a leader in her community where she led by example. She started primary school at the age of 57. She was a seamstress by day and a student at night while also being a devoted mother. She left school in the 9th grade due to her late husband's illness. She loved to sing for the Lord and was a member of the choir at the Adult Day Center she used to go to. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 20th in the New Jerusalem Evangelical Church at 871 N. Main St. Randolph, MA starting at 8.30am.
Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery,99 North Carey Street Brockton, followed by a reception at Soley Leve Adult Day Center at 61 Pleasant St, Randolph. Calling hours in the funeral home on Friday, November 19th from 5:00-9:00 PM. All visitors must wear a Mask in the funeral home.
