Obituary

Online Obituaries Amie V. (Bradshaw) Royster was the youngest of 7 children (all of which have predeceased) born July 3, 1925 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Bradshaw and Rossetta (Miles) Bradshaw. Amie married the late Early A. Royster October 3, 1943. In 1952 they moved to Brockton, MA. She is survived by her children Stella (Oliver) Brockington and her husband Leland, Callie H. Royster and his wife Gracious, Ira G. Royster and his wife Caran, Emmett Royster, Sr and his wife Candice, Van O. Royster and Sean Royster. She was the Mother of the late Early G. Royster, Valerie Royster and Patrick Royster. She studied with Benanna Pettiford until she was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses in the summer of 1972. She had an affectionate personality, generous heart and great love for people, thus she became known as 'Nana' or 'Grandma' to many. She loved spending time with her ever expanding family, enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing cards, word search puzzles, and making others laugh. But most of all she enjoyed being in the ministry serving as a regular pioneer for 24 years helping others learn about Jehovahs promises for mankind. Since the memories we have are too many to put on paper, lets take today to share our memories of nana with each other, until the day comes when we can again share all of our memories with her. So in the way that only she could say 'it aint easy' 'Hello' 'you are too cool' and her favorite 'here goes everything'. Along with her children she is survived by 21 grandchildren (1 deceased), 43 great grandchildren (1 deceased) and 6 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 444 Plain St., Brockton on Saturday, November 29th at 11:15AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00-9:00PM.
