Obituary

Amy L. Maki, age 40, of New Bedford, formerly of East Bridgewater, died unexpectedly on December 18, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Amy was born in Brockton, daughter of Gary Maki of Denmark, ME and the late Rosemarie (Picanzo) Maki. She was raised and educated in Brockton and East Bridgewater and was a 1999 graduate of East Bridgewater High School.

For many years, she worked for Sullivan Brothers, Inc. in Hanson. Amy was known for her beautiful and kind soul, as well as her quiet and calm nature. She enjoyed family time, especially time spent with her son Nathan. She also enjoyed camping, the outdoors and her coffee.

In addition to her father, Amy is survived by her son Nathan Maki. She was the sister of Derek Maki, Shannon Maki and the late Thomas Maki. She is also survived by many cousins.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater at a later date.
