Ana C. Garcia

Ana C. Garcia (86) of Brockton passed away May 28th at The Atrium Faxon Woods assisted living under hospice care surrounded by her loving family.

Celia (as she was best known by) was born in La Vega, Dominican Republic, daughter of late Severino Valdez and Juana Maria Valdez. She worked most of her life for a laundry company and loved cooking, entertaining her family with events and working closely with her church and the community.

She is survived by her two sons, Marcos and Eddy Mieses, of Roslindale and Randolph, respectively, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St, Brockton, on Thursday, June 4th at 8am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church, 335 Main St., Brockton at 10am. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 LaGrange St, West Roxbury.
