Ana Andrade Gomes, 56, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 22, 2021 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
She was born in Cova Figueira, Fogo, Cape Verde on April 4, 1964 the daughter of Caitano Andrade and Zulmira Fernandes. Before moving to Brockton, Ana lived in Scituate and loved being by the harborside. She loved cooking, working, travelling, and spending time with her family. We will always remember Ana for her kind and giving spirit. Her charisma was felt in every room she entered. Ana spent many years working to provide for others and be a matriarch of her family. We honor her by remembering the genuine person that will remain in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her sons, Derek Jesus and Jason Jesus, her sister Clarinda Fernandes, her three brothers, Manuel Andrade, Rodolfo Fernandes, and Julio Andrade. Their children, Ivanda, Olivia, Maria, Cony, Eloisa, Graciete, Sandra, To, and Frank. With respect to the entire family and all in mourning of Ana.

All visitors when returning to their cars will please exit the property to allow others to enter.
All visitors will be able to greet family members from a safe distance but not able to touch.
