Stacey Varros Anastasia "Stacey" Kaliope Varros, 52, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 25, 2012. She was pre-deceased by her parents Nicholas and Clara (Macrokanis) Varros; her maternal grandparents John and Kaliope (Kakoyannis) Macrokanis; her paternal grandparents Peter and Anastasia (Bravakos) Varros; and, several aunts and uncles. Stacey loved to travel and liked nothing better than being on a beautiful island, enjoying the healing sunshine, fresh sea breezes and long walks at the water's edge. Stacey was well-known for her sense of style. She worked in the fashion industry in Boston for many years and later owned a boutique on Martha's Vineyard. She loved animals and doted on the succession of cats that passed through her life - Charlie, Zoe and Nikki and so many others. She also enjoyed practicing yoga, having beautiful flowers in her home and sharing good food with friends. Although she was an only child, Stacey was blessed with a close extended family and many life-long friends who loved her dearly. She will be missed. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, March 30th from 10:30-11:30AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
