Obituary

Andre "Andy" Desjarlais, 70, passed unexpectedly from this life into eternal life on October 23, 2025 at his home in Bridgewater, MA.

Andy was born on December 16, 1954, in Newport, VT, to loving parents, Germain and Alice (Bourgault) Desjarlais. He grew up the middle child of seven children in the town of Jay, VT, and graduated from NCUHS, Class of '73. Soon after that, he moved to Massachusetts along with his brothers, Michael and Daniel, and built a successful business in real estate.

Andy enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, his family and friends gatherings, flower gardens (particularly yellow ones), and his homestead. He will be remembered most for his thoughtfulness, his generosity, his chocolate sweet tooth, and holiday decorations (without him, our lives will forever be less sweet and holidays less festive.)

Andy was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his siblings, Germaine O'Kane (Kevin), Lucie Bay (Peter), Leo, Michael (Joni), Daniel (Carol-Ann), and Denis (Michael), and many nieces and nephews.

A Catholic Burial will be celebrated at the family plot at the Notre Dame Cemetery, North Troy, VT at a later date.
