Obituary

Andrew G. Loveday, age 63, of Brockton, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at his home.

Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of Marjorie Ann (Gunther) Loveday and the late Gerard Xavier Loveday.

He attended Brockton Schools and most recently worked for Shaw’s Supermarket on the East Side of Brockton, for the past four years.

Andy enjoyed gardening, taking care of plants, and working outside. He also loved classic cars, music and a was a good handyman. He was a “jack of all trades”.


He will be remembered for having strong leadership skills. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and being with his family.

Besides his mother, he leaves his four children, Brandie Donnelly of Raynham, Gerard Loveday of Cocoa, FL, Whitney Bova of Holbrook, and Shana Loveday of Weymouth; his siblings, Debra Burr, Denise Maurice, Cheryl Dimond, Darlene Wheeler, Vicki Loveday, Scott Loveday, Jessica Perez, Gerard “Gerry” Dahl; his grandchildren, Emmitt Donnelly, Connor Donnelly, Cole Donnelly, Merchon Brown, Dominic Bova, and Lillyanna Bova; and many nieces and nephews.

To honor the wishes of his family, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
