Andrew Passias, 87, of Brockton, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at his home in Brockton. He was the beloved husband of Bessie (Nasiopoulos) Passias for 60 years.
Born August 27, 1934 in Pentalofo, Greece, he was the son of the late Athanasios Passias and Agoritsa (Benelas) Passias. Andrew served in the Greek Airforce.
Andrew had a long career in construction and building homes in the Brockton area.
He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and recently a great grandfather. He was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and the Pan-Macedonian Club both in Brockton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bessie (Nasiopoulos) Passias; his sons, Arthur and his fiancée Amy, Peter and his wife Yolanda, Charles, and Stephen and his wife Robin; his grandchildren, Andrew and his wife Nicole, Alexander, and Cassandra; and his recent great grandson, Kosta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Wednesday from 9:00AM-11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the church at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
