Andrew Monteiro Teixeira Andrew Andy Teixeira, 16 of Brockton, died unexpectedly on July 26, 2014. He was the son of Pedro and Maria Amalia (Monteiro) Teixeira. He was raised in Brockton and attended Brockton High School. Andy was very loving and friendly. He loved working with electronics and cars and taking items apart and putting them back together. Andy is survived by his parents Pedro and Maria Teixeira, his brothers, Nilton Teixeira and Alex Teixeira, his sisters, Leonilde Alfama and Anthonea Teixeira, his paternal grandparent, Antonio Teixeira (Antoninho de Tchitcha), and his maternal grandparents Clarice and Guilherme Monteiro (Djeme de Tadeu). He also leaves behind two nephews, a niece, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 9:00AM in the Brockton Portuguese Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 28 Warren Ave., Brockton. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-9pm in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton.
