Bridgewater- Angela Cole Murray (Angie or Pops) of Bridgewater passed away on Dec 21, 2021 and will be dearly missed by her family, friends and the multitude of other people whose lives she has touched over her short, but productive and fun filled 26 years. Angie was the sweetest girl with the greatest spirit and most infectious smile. She valued her family and friends and traveling to Hampton beach, down the cape, to camping weekends including the Tim Fests, to Europe, or simply staying at home around the fire pit with the people she loved the most, but Angie was always up for an adventure!
Born on June 5, 1995, in Halifax Ma, the middle child and sister of Martin and Daniel, she was by far our "favorite" daughter. She was raised in Bridgewater with the best neighbors anyone could ever hope for. She attended the Bridgewater school system and was a member of TJ2 Robotic team for three years in high school. With TJ2 she traveled by bus to Kansas City, Baltimore and Boston with 50 or so of her teammates to compete against many other schools in regionals. Throughout her school years, she played softball and basketball on local teams and formed so many friendships she held tight to throughout her life.
She had so much fun with these TJ2 trips and competitions, while designing and building these robots, and while being a member of the honor roll society she decided to follow her dad and became a Mechanical Engineer. Angie was a determined girl who would always put her head down and get to work and she completed her Masters degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in May of 2020. Angie finally achieved her goals and landed a job at Flexcon Industries, where her boss and co-workers admired her work ethics and her drive to get things done.
She was a true friend and the easiest, most loving, daughter, granddaughter, niece and cousin. Towards the end, Angie faced cancer with bravery and humor, and never once complained. Even while going through treatments, she still enjoyed the many weddings, showers and family parties with beauty, dignity and grace. Many of these special moments were posted via Facebook with her giant smile and she always appreciated the comments and love that were returned from these posts.
Angie has surrendered herself to God and will leave a lasting memory to all that knew her. She leaves behind our close and large Murray family, including her parents Joseph and Karen (Dickey), her brothers Martin and Daniel, her Grandfather William Dickey, her dog Mookie and cat Sylvie, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, friends and the best neighbors.
