Angela M. Murphy

Angela M. Murphy, 83, a longtime resident of Brockton, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital.

A native of Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland, she was born to the late Patrick and Catherine (Sullivan) Murphy. For many years, Angela was employed as a clerical worker for Hills Department Stores.

Fiercely proud of her Irish heritage, Angela will be fondly remembered for her spirited, loving, and strong-willed nature. She loved cooking, shopping, and enjoying a quiet cup of British blend tea.

She is survived by her children, Tina Murphy Bishop and her partner David Westberg, Dennis P. Murphy-Bishop and his husband William Siemers-Murphy, all of Brockton, and Kevin M. Bishop and his wife Michelle of Rockland; her brother, Daniel Murphy of Australia; her grandchildren, Toni Joyce and Devin Bishop; and her great-grandson, Cameron Joyce. She was predeceased by the love of her life Dennis E. Bishop, and six siblings. 

To honor Angela’s wishes, all funeral services and her burial in Pine Hill Cemetery will be private.
