Angelina "Lena" Desautels Angelina (Lena) G. (Celia) Desautels, 94, of Brockton, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 after a period of failing health at West Acres Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. Born June 8, 1914 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frank Celia and Mary (Yanni) Celia. Lena was a Brockton residence since 1920 and attended Brockton schools. As a young girl, Lena worked with her father at his diner, Frank Celia's Restaurant, on the corner of Crescent and Montello St., Brockton, she also was housewife. Lena was a communicant of St. Edward Parish and St. Patricks Church. She was very active in The Life Center of Brockton and had a love for bingo. She is survived by her brother Nicholas Celia, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late John R. Dubos, Stephen R. Dubos and Joanne Mary McMasters; sister of the late Ida Celia, Betty Almeida, Mattie Walker, Josie Hicks and Gloria Petti. Funeral Information Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery on Monday, July 28th at 11:00AM.
