Angelina (Arena) Mederios Angelina (Arena) Mederios , 96, of Brockton, passed away Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph Mederios. Born November 16, 1913 in Gasperina, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Saverio Arena and Mary Ann (Celia) Arena. Mrs. Mederios was a retired shoe worker, she had worked for Foot Joy Shoe Company for over 40 years. She has been a Brockton resident for over 85 years and was a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles. She was devoted to her family and she enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Edward Mederios and his wife Patricia of Marshfield, Ronald Mederios of CA, Celia MacNeill and her husband David of CT and Wayne Mederios and his wife Kathleen of Bradford; her brothers, Francis Arena of Taunton and Sam Arena of Brockton; she is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Domenic Arena and Anthony Arena. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
