Angelo Froio
, 87, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died Thursday, May 10, 2007 at his home after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Winona (Bland) Froio for 62 years.
Born June 7, 1919 in Boston. He was a graduate of Brockton High School and was a Brockton resident for 35 years. He spent the last 40 years in East Bridgewater.
He served in the United States Army during World War II and received a Bronze Star. He was a retired Brockton Postal Worker. He also worked for Prospect Hill Card Company for many years.
He was a member of the Sons of Italy and was an avid gardener.
He is survived by his wife, Winona (Bland) Froio of East Bridgewater; his children, Angela Curley of Florida and Sandra Mason of East Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Kevin Curley of Florida, David Curley of Bridgewater, Michael Mason of Connecticut, Derek Mason of Taunton, Brett Mason of Plymouth; he is also survived by ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He was also brother of the late Gregory Froio, Anthony Froio, John Froio, Frank Froio, Joseph Froio, Victoria Ferranti, and Theresa Froio.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte 123), Brockton on Tuesday, May 15th at 8:00AM thence to Christ The King Parish/St. Colman's, 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in the V.A. National Cemetery, Bourne at 11:15AM. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Monday evening 5:00-8:00PM.
