Kim de Filipe of Brockton, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 in Fogo, Cabo Verde while on vacation. He was the husband of Lucinda Lopes. He was born in Fogo, Cabo Verde, he was the son of the late Filipe Lopes and the late Augusta Pires. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Fatima, Filipinho, Filipa, Filipe, James, Unique, Lisa, Jackie, Ashtin, Maurice, Ashmira, and Jayvien. Survived by his grandchildren, Sean, Romeo, Destiney, Zayden, Riley, and Naleena. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was a hardworking businessman that enjoyed his work and providing for his family. He cherished his time in Cabo Verde and vacated there whenever he could. He will be remembered for always making people laugh whenever he could and he will always be loved by those that knew him.
