IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ann L.
Reardon
June 17, 1936 – November 4, 2023
Ann L. Reardon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at BayPointe Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton.
Ann, loving referred to as Nancy, was born in Boston on June 17, 1936.
Nancy lived in Milton for many years, with a summer home in Plymouth. She also lived in Quincy until about 18 months ago where she resided in Brockton to have supervised medical care.
Nancy was the daughter to the late John and Eileen Reardon. Sister to eleven siblings! The late Mary E. Muise, the late E. Patricia Nunnally, the late John E. Reardon, the late Reverend Robert F. Reardon, OMI, the late Thomas C. Reardon, BFD, the late Christine M. Reardon and the late James P. Reardon. Nancy is survived by her sister Rosalie T. Reardon of Marshfield, her sister Marguerite Mooney and her husband Walter of Brockton, her brother Stephen M. Reardon and his wife Bonnie of West Brookfield and her brother Daniel J Reardon of Holbrook. She was the beloved, favorite Aunt to many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many close friends that were her second family.
Nancy is predeceased by her closest friend, Kathleen Collins, who no doubt is waiting for her with a cup of homemade soup!
Nancy attended Archbishop Cushing High School and received a Bachelors Degree from Bridgewater State. Nancy was a physical education teacher for many years in the Boston Public School system, Grover Cleveland being the school where she met many coworkers that turned into fantastic friends and ended up being her closest, dearest, life-long friends.
Nancy was an avid reader, serious stamp and coin collector, theater goer, busy bird watcher, lighthouse lover, flower fanatic, great gardener and phenomenal photographer- we all especially enjoyed her slides and photos of her many travels around the world.
Nancy was quiet, yet very observant. She always was meeting new people and had the knack to stay in touch with so many, often being the glue that held everyone together.
Nancy enjoyed her classical music, watching Boston sports, following the weather, working on her 3D puzzles, wrapping up in a blanket and enjoying a good cup of hot tea.
Nancy will be forever missed by so many, we were all blessed to have her in our life.
