Ann Whitman, 92, of Bridgewater, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. Born in Rome, New York on February 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Whitman. When she was twelve years old, she moved to Bridgewater with her parents and her brother, Nathan Whitman. Ann worked in Boston at Shreve, Crump and Low for many years until retiring in 1997. Her life was filled with beautiful things both at work and in the home she built. Ann was a member of the Osamequin Club and the Old Bridgewater Historical Society, as well as a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. She was a generous supporter of her faith community and the Old Bridgewater Historical Society. Ann was a blessing to her friends and community, and she will be sorely missed.
