Obituary

Anna (Viveiros) Teague, 71, of Brockton formerly of Newport, RI died January 28, 2009 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton after a brief illness. She was the wife of Richard W. Teague. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Edward and Juliette (Vincelette) Viveiros. Anna (remembered by many as “Tootsie”) lived in Newport where she raised her family before moving to Brockton. She was employed for 26 years as a pinner, solderer and stock room employee for the Carlo Gavazzi Computing Company.

For many years Mrs. Teague has been a member of T.O.P.S. where she forged many wonderful friendships. She also enjoyed traveling, summer days at the beach, evenings sharing stories and good times and most recently quilting with her good friends. Anna was also an Avon Representative for more than 20 years

Anna will be remembered for her generosity, hard work and loving caring nature. Above all Anna loved her family especially her grand and great grandchildren. They will miss her terribly.

She is survived by her children, Clarita Silvia of Orange Park, FL; Mona Sylvester, Alicia Reyes and Cora Mureddu all of Newport, RI and David Reyes of Brockton, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, a sister Angelina Soares of Orange Park , FL and a nephew of Dedham, MA. She was the sister of the late Roland Viveiros.

Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday at 11am. Visiting hours Sunday 1-5 pm. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
