Obituary

Anne M. (Silva) Jacobs, age 84, of Brockton, died September 19, 2014 at the Braemoor Health Center following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Willard Jacobs. Born and raised in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Pedro) Silva. Anne had been employed by Randy Boat Shoe in Randolph and Montello Heel in Brockton.
Anne is survived by her daughters Donna Lariviere and her husband Peter of Brockton and Linda LaBate of Greenbush, Maine; her five grandchildren Kim Whitmire and her husband Jeff of Dighton, Jessica and her husband Bryan Michener of Taunton, Nathan LaBate of Middleboro, Nicholas LaBate of Lowell and Peter Lariviere, Jr of Brockton; several great grandchildren; and three brothers, Joe Silva and his wife Marie of Brockton, Tony Silva of East Bridgewater and Frank Silva of Canton. She was the mother of the late James LaBate; and sister of the late Rose Bouley, Elsie Miller, Mary Beers and John Silva.
Following cremation she will be buried in Calvary Cemetery Brockton.
