Obituary

Annie Lucy Edwards, age 74 of Brockton, went to be with her Lord on April 1, 2020. She died at Good Samaritan Medical Center after brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Bill Edwards for 58 years.
Annie was born and raised in Troy, Alabama a daughter of the late Isiah and Elsie (Boswell) Johnson and had lived in Brockton for 20 years and in Boston for over 50 years.
For many years, Annie worked in the Facilities Maintenance Department at the Jamaica Plain and Brockton VA Medical Centers.
Annie loved sports, watching parades and listening to big band music.
She was the mother of Willie Edwards, James Edwards, Jerome Edwards, Frederick Edwards all of Boston, Annie Edwards of Homewood, Alabama and the late Terry Edwards. Annie was the grandmother of Levi, Jerome, William Tyler and Jennifer Marie Edwards and sister of Mary McMillan of Cleveland, Ohio, Vilar Anderson and Annie Kate Johnson of Anderson, Indiana and the late Levi Johnson and Floria Fairer.
