Camara, of Fall River, formerly of Stoughton, February 4, 2006, Antero G. Camara, 59 years. Brother of Cidalia M. Fonseca and her husband Victor M. of Brockton and Maria F. Carreiro and her husband Victor of Bridgewater.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 10am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, W. Bridgewater at 11am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8pm.

Obituary Information

Antero G. Camara died Saturday at Windsor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Yarmouth after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Antero G. and Maria (Canto) Camara.

In the early 1970’s he moved to Brockton from the Azores where he was a resident until 1981, and had been a resident of Stoughton until moving to Fall River three years ago. He had been employed as a machine operator for many years at various companies in the Brockton and Stoughton areas. Antero enjoyed music and riding motor cycles.

He is survived by his two sisters Cidalia M. Fonseca and her husband Victor M. of Brockton and Maria F. Carreiro and her husband Victor of Bridgewater, and three nieces.
