Obituary

Anthony R. “Tony” Arena 48 years of Brockton died unexpectedly Thursday evening. He was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late Anthony M. and Emma H. (Martin) Arena and was a graduate of Brockton High School.
For the past 15 years he was employed as warehouse manager for American & Efird, Inc. in West Bridgewater. Previously he was a printer at Knapp Shoe Company in Brockton. Tony also worked evenings at the Westside Shaws Supermarket for many years.
Because Tony did not drive he could be seen walking around the city of Brockton and surrounding towns no matter what the weather conditions. Tony also enjoyed watching Brockton High School sports and keeping up with current events.
Tony leaves no known survivors.
A graveside service was held Tuesday in the family lot in Melrose Cemetery.
