Anthony F. Cicone
, 87, of West Bridgewater and formerly of Brockton, died Friday evening, September 7, 2007 at the West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Tekla Ann (Giniewicz) Cicone.
Born October 31, 1919 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Joseph Cicone and Innocenza (Mantello) Cicone.
Mr. Cicone was an Auto Salesman for Lucini Motor Sales Company of West Bridgewater for over 33 years.
He was a Brockton resident for 82 years before moving to West Bridgewater five years ago. He was a member of Ford Motor Company 300-500 Club and a member of the Brockton Sons of Italy. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and Boxing fan.
He is survived by his wife, Tekla Ann (Giniewicz) Cicone; his children, Mary-Ann Chafin and her husband Michael of Pennsylvania and Gene Cicone of Norton; his grandchildren, Melissa Chafin of Maryland, Nicholas Chafin of Maryland, Jennifer Asprella of Connecticut, and Heather Davidson of Rhode Island; his sisters, Josephine DeGirolamo of West Bridgewater, Elena Niccoli of Brockton, and Mary Oriola of West Bridgewater; he is also survived by one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. , Jr., and brother of the late Frank Cicone, Eugene Cicone, and Vincent Cicone.
Funeral Information
Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, September 11th at 9:00AM thence to St. Ann Church, 103 No. Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Monday 5:00-8:00PM.
